Imperfection

“Humour is that which most efficiently recognizes that we are living in an imperfect world, with imperfect arguments and things that are insane, illogical, and irrational. And the only way we can live with that fact is to laugh.”

  1. Your work is impeccable, as always
    congratulations.

    humor is the raw truth,
    without make-up
    undisguised
is showing us as we are
although many people may not like what they see and be offended
is not easy to look at himself in the mirror with the eyes of another person
the person who expresses humor (in literature, painting, sculpture, photography, etc.) is a person who observes reality from a different place than it looks at the rest of the people.
the humorist is a person who is not tied to any cultural bias
the humorist is a person who can express a vision of his own death, which causes a reaction (in, others) called "laughter," but in reality he is showing himself, not hiding anything
The truth is not easy to accept, but it is not disrespectful

  4. @ mirando algo allá : I enjoy your comments! Keep writing!

@ Carula: frankly told, I considered to post only one picture ( the second one!!!) but finally I published both of them as "smooth transition"....( I was afraid some visitors could be "not amused" ) :D

    Thanks for your comment!

  8. I like both. They seem very sculptural, like you took a picture of clay models or something. Very nice!

@Linda: Thanks Linda! I borrowed this arm from the Thinker, because only the Thinker can battle with his imperfection .....

  12. You are right about the concept of The Thinker here, he is in doubt about things and doubt means that he's not so perfect, he doesn't know all.

  13. @ AHAviews : yes, there WERE more in this serie. Some of them did not meet the standard of art-is-jokken and therefore deleted :) I have some more but I am not sure if they ever will see daylight...:D
