@ curious art, anonymous and Jack: Thanks for visit! Yes these guys are very annoying . I had some problems with them 2 years ago.....I found it piteous to send them in happy hunting grounds but I preferred to not have them in my backyard. So I tried some "environmental and mole - friendly method: I took speakers, 150 watt amplifier and CD player in to my garden, speakers put on the "mole castle" and played some music from my teenager sons.......Well, my neighbors thought I am completely mad ( my family as well) but as we say in Artichokistan "He who laughs last, laughs Best" : I was right (of course as usually, :D)
The mole never showed up in my backyard again and I declared the territory mole-free !!
Love the way you dealt with the mole. I too have a hard time dispatching garden invaders "with extreme prejudice" but they can indeed be so very annoying. It's great when you can annoy them right back!

Sneaky little mole! Yesterday a chipmunk ran into my place of work. The door was open and he just ran in! Cute little devil... but not ferocious!

ReplyDeleteI wish the shrews and moles in my yard were a little more ferocious. It seems they drop dead of heart attacks when my cat pats them. Really.
