Tower

“I respect the man who knows distinctly what he wishes. The greater part of all mischief in the world arises from the fact that men do not sufficiently understand their own aims. They have undertaken to build a tower, and spend no more labor on the foundation than would be necessary to erect a hut.”

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

  1. This tower, I believe, illustrates the comment on time spent for huts vs towers the best of the two. There is a rambling sort of direction the building has that mirrors the reactionary direction the unplanned have, be it life or architecture.

    nicely done.

  2. Nice words, thanks, Richard. Sometimes an idea comes when reading a quote spontaneously, as in this case. A quick sketch converted in Ps.
