Of course I must root for the worm because of his underdog status, but on the other hand, I don't wish starvation for the twin birdlings. I like to imagine a nice bird-feeder around the corner so there's a happy ending for all.
@Curious : good poem! Actually this one fits better ! Is it a poem from you? Yes, it it always a dilemma ; worm or birdies? But indeed, around the corner ( not seen on the picture) is a fast food restaurant for birds, called Fast Beccus !!

@Ted: Hand brake is not a helpful feature for birds. (they do not have hands anyway) :D

ReplyDeleteOh, I absolutely love this!! Go worms!! I've never heard the poem either.
ReplyDeleteDo you know this one?
A bird came down the walk:
He did not know I saw;
He bit an angle-worm in halves
And ate the fellow raw....
Of course I must root for the worm because of his underdog status, but on the other hand, I don't wish starvation for the twin birdlings. I like to imagine a nice bird-feeder around the corner so there's a happy ending for all.
ReplyDelete@Rene : thanks, but autumn has also its magic !!
