wonderful and looks uncomfortable :) at least we know who the father is
Maybe it looks uncomfortable (for the bird) but very handy in bifurcated tree trunks of Artichokistan. The birds waste no time by searching for food on individual trunks. Very effective evolutionary adaptation . Well, You are right about the paternity, could be ( in some cases) a disadvantage...:)
Yes, it's good to have 'eyes in the back of your head', as they say. In this case, a nose is good!
hmmm.. It will be important for the mom to remember which one of her child's beaks she fed last.
also true, Ted. Imagine , the bird mother feeds only one half of the chick ....... can cause severe nutritional disorders. But luckily the moms have a great memory....
Oh no, this makes me worried... But brilliant work all the same!
Do not worry, Sasa, it is not real. ;)But thank you , Sasa! :)
have a great day
thanks! you too! :)
super creative.I can see how this could be helpful in certain instances. Those beaks are really alive, well done, a bit like chili peppers.
