Artist is a person who reacts to events around himself and/or in the world. It could be a very tragic event that inspire the formation of an artwork. Sometimes, however, it feels a bit weird : the song or photograph or painting is actually beautiful but the reason and the background why this work was made is frightening…..sometimes I get mixed feelings about it...
I remember exactly what I felt after visiting an exhibition of Sebastião Salgado some time ago.
