Within the Light Brigade was perhaps also a dreamer,Also, someone who never stopped being a child,Also, a lot of old person who gave their lives to workand all the artists in the world, expressing their ideasDo you think that the heavy brigade doubled in amount to the members of the Light Brigade?
Oh, thanks, no, not a Sauterns, no no.We have a wine from the province of Salta, called Torrontés. But when they let the grapes ripen on the plant (late harvest) then Torrontés is sweet, not too, but sweet, but is not a dessert wine, no, no...you can drink a glass of this wine, cold, at 8pm while looking at the sun to say good bye :)))ok, thanks byeeeeeeeeee...
They always send in the weak ones first...I saw it on a film:) The heavy mob always wait 'til the end! Your painting disturbs..but that's what you intended...good work.
@Roberto: ha,ha, you are clever ! Sometimes it seems to be quadrupled.... but perhaps the ratio remains unchanged for centuries... who knows? Interesting subject to be investigated. Torrontés Riojano ! I think it is similar to Moscatel. I love it. When I was in the Pyrenees I got it after dinner with roasted nuts or almonds.....highly enjoyable stuff !! @Rod: there's always certain degree of risk: who first sticks his head upwards, he/she can lose it ...(I am glad I disturbed you , thanks!!)
I don't see a light brigade in this image, but a gate into a colourful sunny world, like one of Calvino's invisible cities.
Ok OK. I, maybe, and I say "maybe", I could have understood what Louise meant,I think I know what sad eyes in a girl means. (wisdom of elders)But sooner or later, the girls choose their futureand we must stay only looking at his picture.Probably soon, she will return, with "news"OK OK OK! this is too much, you can not show that fig cake! Next time alerts with time and I make coffee !!!!!!!!!!! :) :)Another thing:do you know that the fig cut in the middle reminds me of some of your drawings? Do not ask me why, but aesthetically has a lot of your drawings...I like the dry leaf!100x100 expressive!......................................Oh Olimpia with "i" is Olympia in my language (at least let me put a word that is not in English)
I like the lively comments this post has sparked. Interesting painting. I appreciate its colors and ethereal quality. Also, I like Roberto's fig comments-- ;)
@Rene: it is important if a painting evoke any kind of feelings, emotion or thought ...if it DOES something with an observer whatever the name of the painting is. If it does not do anything than it is probably not good painting. Thank you! Interesting you mentioned "Le città invisibili"@ Roberto: :) I appreciate your comment on Louise. You have made very good analyze. Wisdom, experiences.....:D@Elisabeth Rose: hi , Thanks, how is live in North-West? I just discovered some of my comments on your blog are not visible.... :(
Heisann!Something extraordinary this week - Have nice days ahead;:OD)
@ Vilt .... : thank youuuu, the same to you! Today We have Sinterklaas or more formally Sint Nicolaas or Sint Nikolaas; Saint Nicolas in French; Sankt Nikolaus in German, Sankt Nikolas in Norsk!!
Your painting makes me think of the impression of movement left in the mind when the mover is gone, and thought, response alone remains with us.
"Forward, the Light Brigade!Charge for the guns' he said:Into the valley of Death"taken from The Charge Of The Light Brigade.
