    Thanks, Rene! I have to admit they are not ALWAYS my friends - especially when I am gardening and next day all seedlings are disappeared in snails stomach- but they are also funny creatures ! And very interesting. They can be plaguing you for many years - they live up to 5 to 10 years or even longer (when not eaten by birds, of course)
